Aurora's V-Tune Pro HD is the perfect solution for all your tuner needs. Like a traditional tuner, the V-Tune Pro HD supports RF tuning of NTSC, ATSC, and QAM signals. In addition, the V-Tune Pro HD also gives you the ability to receive IPTV streams.

So what is IPTV?
IPTV is a technique of broadcasting video signals over a traditional data network (LAN, WAN, Internet, etc., bandwidth dependent). Much like modulating your own RF signal over coax, IPTV involves encoding a live or pre-recorded video, transporting it over your data network, then decoding it at the playback device. However, IPTV decoders are typically stand-alone boxes, separate from your RF tuners. This means an additional input is needed on your display for the decoder, adding unnecessary complexity.
